WHAT THE CUSTOMER NEEDS TO KNOW

A complete vessel repair programme, not a collection of separate jobs.

KME coordinates underwater and onboard work through one project schedule. Repair scope, approvals, material readiness and inspection hold points are reviewed early so mechanical, hull, piping and coating activities can progress in the required sequence.

Service focus
Integrated repair scope
Repair objective
Defined scope, verified completion and clear handover

SCOPE OF SERVICE

What we undertake during a drydocking

DELIVERY APPROACH

How a drydocking programme is delivered

A clear sequence matters when multiple trades share access to the same vessel.

01

Pre-dock review

Review vessel particulars, repair specification, class requirements, materials and critical-path activities.

04

Tests & undocking

Close agreed test points, document repairs, complete handover checks and coordinate the undocking programme.

03

Multi-trade execution

Sequence machinery, steel, piping, coatings and outfitting work around access and inspection requirements.

02

Docking & opening-up

Coordinate yard access, cleaning, inspections and opening-up of machinery and structures for agreed scope confirmation.

WORKFLOW PRINCIPLE Each assignment is scoped and scheduled according to its actual technical and operational requirements.

QUALITY & COMPLETION

Scope control, inspection and handover

Inspection and test requirements are agreed for each vessel and repair specification. Repair drawings, inspections and completed work records support a controlled handover.

Repair definition
Repair sketches/drawings, scope clarification and class/owner approvals where applicable.
Verification
Visual and specified NDT, coating checks, dimensional checks, pressure or leak testing as required.
Close-out
Completed work records, outstanding-item resolution, testing evidence and operational handover.
